This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by WANNASORN EDUCATION CO.,LTD.
Personal Identification and Usage Information
Aurum Online may collect application usage statistics, which may include but are not limited to, record of when students log into the application, play, change speed or pause video lessons and what courses they view.
Aurum Online may use students personal information for the following purposes:
- To authenticate students
- Each student must provide a valid email address, mobile phone number and password.
- To improve user’s learning experience
- We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our students as a whole interact with the course material and make use of the resources provided on the app.
- To improve customer service
- Information students provide helps us respond to their customer service requests and support their needs more efficiently.
- To personalize learning experience
- We may use students’ course history to suggest successive courses appropriate to their skill levels. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the course.
- Measures Concerning Learning Quality and Learner's Privacy
- The application will capture pictures of learner at 15-30 minute intervals before uploading to our secure server. No videos are recorded.
- Learner's pictures are stored in a secure server, accessible only to authorized technical personnel of the school.
- Learner's pictures are used by selected school staffs to keep track of the learning progress and behavior. School staff can send the learner an in-app alert message to notify them of behaviors that constitute inattention such as being absent from the learning station, engaging in other activities etc.
- The application will store learner's pictures before automatic deletion.
- The application does not have any function to allow school staffs or teachers to save or share learner's pictures.
How We Protect User Information
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of student’s personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our app.
Sharing Personal Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent students personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information, which is not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
WANNASORN EDUCATION CO.,LTD. has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do, we will post a notification on the main app. We encourage students to frequently check the application for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. Students should acknowledge and agree that it is the students’ responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
Acceptance of These Terms
By using this app, a user signifies their acceptance of this policy. If a user does not agree to this policy, they may not use the application. A user’s continued use of the app following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed their acceptance of those changes.
